Replacement casters for Bradly loveseat

Hancock and Moore - Replacement casters for Bradly loveseat
Hancock and moore will not sell direct to customer on parts. Casters on their sofa are white cast metal and subpar. They broke with normal wear. That means daily use no kids or rearranging of products. > Their dealers are gouging the replacement price at $50/caster and $25 for shipping.

User's recommendation: When we 1st purchased H & M their cushion warranty was exceptional. Without cost today there is shipping and it’s can be $$$. However most rooms in my home contain a H &M product or one that fall under their umbrella.

The store where this was purchased attempted to restuff the cushion (using feathers, which I'm highly allergic to). They removed the feathers and used other stuffing and it's still dreadful to sit upon.

Sewing, as can be seen from pics, is really pathetic. Apparently they are unable to sew straight seams.

The cushion for my chair is so poorly sewn and especially filled so that one is nearly sitting on the frame and it looks awful, too.

Total dissatisfaction and disappointment

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Weve spent over $5,000. On a sofa and chair that have literally fallen apart. We are two people that simply sit on these pieces. They did not hold up. I can go on. Truly horrible workmanship, horrible fabrics. We have too-notch, quality furniture in our home. Horrible medicine man marketing/pricing. I would need to find the receipts - I will do if required. If your pieces are supposed to last/stand the test of time, they have not.

We purchased two Hancock & Moore swivel rockers through a local furniture store in mid 2021. We took delivery of the chairs in January 2022.

Less than 4 months later, we began seeing excessive wear on the armrests and sidewalls adjacent to the seat cushion on the chair most frequently sat in. The seat cushion (down feather) was also collapsed. We had a representative of the furniture store come to see the degradation himself at that point. When he depressed the cushion, we also observed the same excessive wear in the fabric behind the seat cushion.

When the furniture store presented photos of the wear to Hancock and Moore, they suggested the wear was the result of pet damage. Recall, the chairs are swivel rockers. One of our dogs is blind and never climbs on ANY furniture. Neither dog has EVER been on either of the swivel rockers.

The wear patterns match exactly where wrists lie at the end of the arms, where hips touch the side panels, and where the backside of a human buttocks touches the back of the chair. No pet issue.

The Hancock & Moore Company is simply trying to weasel out of honoring their warranty in any way shape or form. The attached photos were taken 9/7/2022, 9 months after we took delivery of the two chairs.

The fabric is absent from the chair because the furniture store took the fabric to return it to Hancock & Moore for their examination.

As a result of our experience, I cannot suggest that anyone buy any Hancock & Moore furniture product, since they DO NOT stand behind their product or warranty.

I'm having the same problem with a sofa. Not as bad but enough that an independent furniture repairer said it's unacceptable wear. Still trying to get in touch with someone at Hancock & Moore who is willing to address the issue.

Replacement parts

Thank you for reaching out, however, your response did not address my questions. I have a dark wine colored leather recliner that I purchased many years ago and l still love it. Whenever I seek to replace a chair of sofa I will absolutely consider your products. I am seeking answers to the following questions: Do you sell a dye I can use to improve the looks of a spot that was rubbed raw on a piece of furniture? Do you sell replacement cushion foam. The original one has lost its firmness? I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks. Don Brubaker Bruby45@***.com 609-402-)3:9

Dealer confirms change in manufacturer policy.H&M Customer Service confirms change in policy.

Original review Jul 28, 2022
Purchased two recliner chairs as follows:
2017 model 1026 in leather $ 1,399
2021 model 1021 in leather $ 1,549
In 2020, we received replacement foam core and back pillows for the 2017 chair under warranty.
This year we again contacted both the dealer & Hancock and Moore to obtain another set of foam core and pillows since the last ones didn't hold up as well as the original ones. We were informed that the company had been acquired and there would be a $ 200 charge for replacements.
We bought the H&M chairs in-part because they had a good reputation and service for their products. This experience greatly diminishes their value and makes repeat purchases unlikely.

Cushion cores keep failing

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
We bought a Hancock and Moore Smithfield sofa. Within 6 months of having it, the cushion cores had compressed to the point of being almost flat. They replaced the cushions (great!). Well, this has happened multiple times. Ive said that these cushions must be too thin for down (an up charge) - would they replace with Qualux? No! The store I bought from suggests I ship the sofa to H&M (seriously??) I bought based upon assurances of top notch quality and top notch service. Ive gotten neither

Quality & Service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Ive purchased many items from this company and Ive had a common issue. The leather is just not good.

My latest issue is a recliner.

The cushion is all stretched out. The dye is coming off the arms, the headrest etc.

Ive been promised some dye to help hide the many places that are fading.

They say its from our body oils and the shampoos we use.

If thats the case Ill buy a Rooms to Go recliner for far less money and simple replace it every two years!

I expected much much better quality in leather, the process used in applying dye and quality.

After two tufted sofas, two tilt back chairs, two ottomans and a recliner Ive leaned my lesson.

Opened head rest in Hancock &{{Redacted}} Moore recliner to find that bugs had eaten through the fabric covering. Apparently infested in feather filling. Took off seat cushion cover and found long slits where filling cover had split. Called company and they said would get back in 24 hours. No response after several days. I cannot believe they would treat people/customers like this. Surely they will go belly up with this quality. But if you like their catchy name - go for it.

DoOrder placed 3/23/21 for 2 recliners with a lead time of 10-12 weeks. By 24 weeks the word from Hancock and Moore to our sales vendor was supplies had arrived and our order would be moved to the front of production and expected soon. 6 weeks later they now say it will be 4 more months. That brings the time for fulfilling the order from the original 3 months to 11 months! REALLY!
