Hancock and Moore - Springs broken on $10,000 reclining couch
Update. The local furniture company cannot repair the springs.
The Hancock & Moore solution was to pick up the couch and return it to North Carolina (From Houston) to repair. That would mean weeks without one of the two couches that are the main furniture in my living room. Not acceptable. Have been trying to just talk to a manager for over a week but the manager either does not care or is not aware.
So disappointing. Hard to believe this great company has fallen so low. It would be cheaper for them to fly someone to Houston to fix it! Impossible to believe there is no business in a city of 5 million that can repair this couch for them.
I suggest they replace it. More to come.
This is my second post on the same couch. Bought two couches, one that reclines, one that doesn't (but they are matching).
My first post was about the electronics going bad on the reclining couch. I ended up have to repair myself with a part shipped from H&M (after weeks) because the local dealer did nothing (Louis Shanks). Now the very same side of the couch has two springs where the weld has failed.
Cannot use the couch till its repaired on that side and nothing is being done. Wait wait wait on someone to figure out a resolution.
Hancock and Moore Cons: Waiting for the local uninterested dealer to do nothing.
Location: Friendswood, Texas
